Free Swim Initiative

Free Swim for the over 60s

Over 60s resident in Wales are welcome to free swims at any public session, Over 50s, Ladies/Gents Hour, Fun Session, etc.

We also have a free over 50s aquacise class on Wednesdays (see timetable).
This applies during school term time only. During the school holidays over 60s are charged the concessionary rate of £1.60.

Free Swim for Children resident in Wales (during School Holidays only)

Once again the Welsh Assembly Government are providing free swimming for children aged 16 and under who are resident in Wales.

During Holidays - Swimming will be free for registered children all day at weekends and during afternoon Public Swim sessions during the week. In addition, we are providing a range of free lessons and activities - see timetable.

All free swim activities e.g. water polo, canoeing, lifesaving etc are open to children who are not resident in Wales for a charge of £2.00.

Aberaeron Swimming Pool is a 20m x 7.5m pool.
