Free Swim Initiative

The Welsh Assembly Government has announced changes to free swimming.

The new format will start throughout Ceredigion on Saturday 3rd July 2010, with its 'Super Saturday' programme for 16s and under- an hour every Saturday of free swimming throughout the year, not just school holidays.

There will be an additional hour of free 'unstructured splash' swimming and one hour structured activity (this summer it will be kayaking lessons, in aberaeron ) every school holiday.

Over 60's remain free in all Public, term time sessions plus one structured session a week. At Aberaeron this will be Aqua Aerobics on Wednesday afternoons.
